901T - BASIC RECORD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM TRAINING
This course is an entry level course and a prerequisite for all other courses
Instruction on navigating within the RMS using different computer and software controls. Explain the term “Synching” and why it is important to your data. It offers a brief history and evolution of the software and information about the company and its growth. This basic course will introduce the student to the Persons Management, Address Management, Vehicle Management, Call Log and Case Builder modules. It will instruct the student how enter data into the Property Management Module and how to maintain chain of evidence using bar codes, scanners and label printers. Introduce the student to the chain of evidence, reports and evidence location inventory sheets. The student will learn how to link data entered into the Person, Vehicle and Address Modules with Traffic and Non-Traffic citations as well as Criminal Complaints and Search Warrants to minimize the amount of demographic data entry needed. The basic course introduces the student to the Administrative Review Module, Administrative Reports and handling photographs of evidence, crime scene and arrestees properly.

911T - GENERAL ADMINISTRATOR COURSE
Prerequisite: Basic RMS Course
This course offers the agency administrator additional instruction in using the Query Module to bring together various classifications of data from data tables across the entire RMS. As an example the administrator will learn to search across the data base for any make, model or color of vehicles that have been driven by or associated with any person of a particular gender, race or age grouping. The possibilities of the various combinations of search criteria are endless. The student will learn the in-depth operation of the Property Module, the available reports and how to manage the evidence in the agency evidence locations. This course instructs administrators on the use of the UCR or IBRS reports, how to reconcile them and forward them to the respective state agencies. The course will instruct agency administrators on the Personnel Management Module which tracks employees of the agency, equipment issued to them, training completed, certifications, promotions, special assignments and disciplinary actions. The General Administrator Course will show the agency administrator how to obtain various reports necessary on individual officer performance, department performance, crimes, activities in patrol zones and victim’s rights. The reports also provide easy to read references for Supervisors, Mayors and Council People of the agency to determine the activity over any given period of time.

931T - RMS DETECTIVE COURSE
Prerequisite: Basic RMS Course
This course is written with the investigator in mind. It approaches data viewing it through the eyes of an officer focused on solving crimes. It continues the same advanced Query Module information as well as stressing the importance of Associations amongst various people you collect data on and Affiliations of organizations they may belong to. The Registration Management Module, Confidential Informant and Photo Management Modules are explained in detail. The course ends with an open discussion or question answer session on how these tools can be utilized in building probable cause, tracking gangs, drug networks, gun runners, stolen car rings and various other organized crimes.

941T - THE POLICE CLERK
Prerequisite: Basic RMS Course
This course is written from the aspect of the Police Clerk. A Police Clerk can look at data from a number of directions. First they can be a call taker where they are talking with citizens over the telephone and recording information necessary for the officer responding to the call. They can work for an agency administrator where they are more concerned with preparing reports from the RMS. They also can be employed in a position of an evidence or property clerk or as a clerk that receipts money for parking tickets, traffic and non traffic citations. Because of the varied rolls of a Police Clerk the Basic RMS Course must be taken first to gain an overall exposure to the system and its capabilities. The Police Clerk Course will then explore the Alarm Billing, Parking Ticket, Citations and Warrants Modules. Available report in the RMS will be introduce and explained. The Admin Review Module will be covered for Court Dispositions and UCR/IBRS auditing and submissions. Time will be provided at the end of the course for the Clerks to discuss issues in a peer group and to pose questions they may have to the instructor and staff.

951O - Property Management (ONLINE COURSE)
Prerequisite: Basic RMS Course
The Property Management Course is directed towards property room managers and administrator responsible for the supervision of the property room system within their agency. The entering of property from the Call Log and the Case Builder Modules will be reviewed. Configuring the Property Room System for an agency will be covered.

971O - West Virginia IBRS Course (ONLINE COURSE)
Prerequisite: Basic RMS Course
Learn how to collect data properly for WVIBR submission.

961O - PA Crash Reports (ONLINE COURSE)
Prerequisite: Basic RMS Course
This course will show how to properly collect data for PA Crash reports, approve reports, and submit them to the state FTP site.
